YAYA is a Scottish rapper with Morrocan-Tunisian heritage. Lyrical but melodic, YAYA is influenced by the likes of J. Cole and A Boogie but owns his tracks with his unique raspy voice. He is known for his hard image which comes naturally to him, but has a romantic side which is apparent in his music. As part of Scotland's up and coming scene, he developed his individual sound through trial and error while learning to record, mix and master his own tracks. Through this knowledge, he is an active participant at every stage.
Alongside his music work, YAYA has also been involved in acting roles in Aladdin, Fast & Furious 9 and new Bollywood blockbuster Bell Bottom. He has recently been working with Bafta Award-winning director Gary Anthony Fraser on a mini series "Supply & Demand", which features his music in the soundtrack.
